So, a lot has happened in the last few weeks, even days. There is a lot of anxiety and fear in the air, and for valid reason. Within the last week, so much has slowed WAY down and even come to a halt. Many of us in the Bay Area area now “sheltering in place.” for the next several weeks.

And for a silver lining, something else has happened.. we busy, high-achieving women and entrepreneurs are at home with extra time for the first time in ages! If you're anything like me, your calendar is usually JAM PACKED with work, life, family, friends, trying to make a difference in the world and stay healthy while doing so. We so often feel overwhelmed and stressed with our busy calendars, work projects and personal responsibilities. For the first time now, whether we like it or not, we have TIME and SPACE. 

We are home, ahhh… But our homes and home offices are cluttered and stressing us out! Maybe others are now at home when it used to be just us. Maybe you work from home but have a super busy schedule -- and just haven’t had the time to clean up your office. Maybe it hasn’t been a priority, even though you KNOW you NEED it -- but there’s just too much to do. Maybe you’re feeling nervous about the state outside world and have a lot of frenetic energy. I know I am.

Let’s use this sacred time to pause on the busyness of life and do some energetic work of releasing the past, organizing the present, and most importantly having FUN! Let’s use it to take ACTION on what we can control. We’re going to have FUN tackling the chaos and creating joyful SPACE for you to live and work. Your future YOU will thank you.

What is this program?

During this four day interactive tidying adventure, you will create your own organized home office space that is joyful, functional and aligned to who YOU truly are. 

I will guide you through Daily Group Lessons, Guided Vision Questions, One on One Vision Conversations, Daily Accountability Check Ins, and a Next Steps Call. You will also have the sisterhood of a Supportive Community of Women going through the process themselves (through video calls and a What’s Ap group). And to throw in a little extra FUN, there are even free 10 minute dance breaks for those who want to take a break and move their body (totally optional) and a Celebratory Happy Hour on Friday. 

By the end of the week, you will be excited, motivated and will see huge shifts in your home office and in your life.

Who is this program for?

Busy, high-achieving women who have time now to step back and organize their space, whether you usually work from home or now need a good space to do so during this “shelter in place” time.

When is the program?

This program starts Tuesday, March 24 and runs through Friday, March 27.

WhyKonMari Your Space?

Ever heard, “When in doubt, throw it out?” Well now’s the time to start chucking (well, recycling in an eco-friendly manner, of course.) Calm the chaos, clear the clutter, and embrace the space. RECLAIM. YOUR. SPACE. Create a space that is not only organized, but functional and feels like YOU. And dare I say, it will even be joyful? :)

What’s the focus?

This is a mini- 4 day version of the complete KonMari Method® which will cover only your office space (and the KonMari categories within it). If you want to keep going to implement the full KonMari Method® on your home (from clothing to sentimental items), we’ll discuss opportunities for that at the end of the week. 

What’s included?

Daily Group Lessons (on Zoom)

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9:00 am - 9:30 am 

  • Different tidying lessons each day:

  • Tuesday:  Working Towards YOUR Vision, and creating your work/office-specific vision, Overview of the KonMari Method® and how we’ll use it to organized our offices

  • Wednesday: Books, Books, Books

  • Thursday: Paper - Marie Kondo's rule of thumb about paper, the 3 categories of paper, and dealing with work vs personal papers

  • Friday: Miscellaneous - What kind of subcategories we find in an office

  • Q & A available during or right after the call, depending on how long each lesson takes

Guided Vision Questions

A visioning form you will be asked to fill out through Acuity as soon as you sign up!

  • An easy form for you to dream up your ideal home and lifestyle 

One on One Vision Conversations (on Zoom)

Tuesday afternoon, scheduled between 3:30 - 6:00 pm 

  • One 30 minute individualized conversation with me about your personal vision

10 Minute Mid-Day Dance Party - (on Zoom, optional)

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 12:00 noon

  • 10 minutes of heart-pumping dance party to shake the stress and fill the heart with love ❤️

Daily Accountability Check-Ins (on Zoom)

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 3:30 pm - 4:00 pm

  • Built-in accountability ensures you can get the benefits of the being with an organizer without the hefty price tags. On these daily calls, we will:

  • Motivate each other through Mini-Masterminds: Getting unstuck

Next Steps Closing Call

Friday afternoon, scheduled sometime between 2:00-3:30 pm

  • This is a 15 minute check-in to assess where you currently are and share next options for continuing the method, whether on your own, with one on one support, or through the group.

Celebratory Happy Hour (on Zoom)

Friday 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Lots of FUN! Marie Kondo believes tidying should be a festival that we dress up for. Let's take advantage of our time at home to connect online and have some FUN clearing out our offices.

What’s NOT included?

The KonMari Method® is not a “do it for you” type of organizing. I will offer tips to guide your decision-making and storage suggestions, but you will be making all of the decisions as to what to keep and what to let go. As a virtual program, you will be also doing the work of gathering, sorting and discarding items (which I help with in person sessions.)  Even though this is a group program, you can share as little or as much of your experience with the group. As we know this can be a personal experience, other group members will not see your space (unless you want them to.) 

How much time do I need?

You will get out of this what you put into it. Every person is different -- the amount of items we own, the size of our space, the amount of time we spend, and how long it takes us to make decisions all impact the amount of time it takes to go through our spaces. When I work in person with clients, we usually work in 5 hour sessions (with breaks). If you can KonMari (clear) your calendars as much as possible from Tuesday- Friday, you will get the greatest benefit (at least from 9 am - 5 pm). But you can work as much as you want on your space and at a time that works for you. 

How much does it cost?

Early bird rate ($497) is available through Sunday, March 22 using coupon code RECLAIM. The program will go up to full price, $597, on Monday, March 23. Payment is non-refundable and due upon booking. You will be automatically directed to pay via PayPal when you book through www.thejoyfilter.me/schedule.  

What if I don’t finish? Can I continue?

As everyone has a different amount of items, a different size space, and a different amount of time they can dedicate, it is possible that you may get through the week without completing your office revamp. That is fine. The process takes time. You will still see and feel massive results even if you have not completely KonMari’d your office. At the end of our time together, we'll schedule a call for Friday to see where you are currently at and create a plan for next steps -- whether you are feeling complete, looking for individualized support, or would like to continue with additional group time.
